Author guidelines

 


Thank you for your interest in submitting to the Advances in Business Management Conference at Conchal Beach, Costa Rica. Please carefully review the following author guidelines to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

1. Submission Categories

Authors may submit papers in the following tracks:

  • Experiential Learning
  • Management/Organizational Behavior
  • Strategy
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Human Resources/SHRM
  • Management Information Systems/Operations Management
  • Accounting/Finance
  • Marketing/Economics
  • PhD Student Publishing Workshop

2. Paper Format and Length

  • Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format.
  • Manuscripts should follow the APA (7th edition) formatting guidelines.
  • The paper should be between 3,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Use 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spacing, and 1-inch margins.
  • All figures and tables should be labeled and referenced within the text.

3. Abstract Requirements

  • All submissions must include an abstract of 150-250 words.
  • The abstract should clearly state the purpose, methodology, findings, and contributions of the research.
  • Include 3-5 keywords relevant to the paper.

4. Review Process

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors must remove any identifying information from the manuscript to ensure anonymity.
  • Papers will be evaluated based on relevance, originality, rigor, and clarity.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent via email within four to six weeks of submission.

5. Submission and Registration

  • Papers should be submitted via the conference submission portal (link to be provided).
  • At least one author must register for the conference to present the paper.
  • Registration fee: $500 per attendee.

6. Conference Proceedings

  • Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, published online after the event.
  • Authors retain the copyright to their work but must grant the conference permission to publish their paper.

7. Important Deadlines

  • Paper submission deadline: August 1, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: September 1, 2025
  • Conference dates: October 9 - 12, 2025
