We are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue of the Journal of Small Business Strategy (JSBS) in conjunction with the 2025 Advances in Business Management Conference, to be held October 9–11 in Jacó Beach, Costa Rica. This special issue invites original research that advances our understanding of small business strategy in today’s dynamic and evolving environment.
We welcome high-quality submissions that contribute to theory development and offer practical implications for small business owners, policymakers, and scholars.

Submissions should be original, unpublished work and must align with the aims and scope of JSBS. Authors will benefit from developmental feedback at the conference and, if invited, a streamlined editorial process with JSBS.
